It has been some time
Since my last post in October 2005, lots of things have happened to me. Namely, I got a year older. But with that, I also got a girlfriend Grace whom I have been seeing since November 2005.
My sister got engaged during this time and she and her fiance plan to get married in France in August of this year. I am unable to attend but wish her the best.
Alan is also getting married this year to his fiance named Rose who comes from Indonesia. I met the two last year and they were quite the happy couple. They plan to get married in Indonesia but are having the reception in San Francisco.
My car got vandalized on New Year's morning. The vandals threw bricks at my car and broke a few windows while scaping a few things that did not break. Incidentally, they did not take the ipod or the gps unit that was lying in plain view in the back seat. Damages were at $2500, $500 of which was was deductable. Other cost incurred were the cost of renting a car and the window tint that was not covered under the insurance. My advice would be never to take up Mercury insurance policy since they do not want to cover everything.
One of my aunts died quite suddenly. The cause of death was cancer while had been lying dormant and hidden for the longest time. Only recently did she feel tired and out of breath. It was then that the cancer was detected.
